2012 marked the expansion of the cause, when LKMWT launched the second Medi-Health Clinic in Malir’s Bachal Goth. It started out as a primary health center, a pharmacy, ultrasound service, and pregnancy care; facilities have since been added; a gynecologist is also on board, providing check-ups, pregnancy care and counsel to hundreds of female patients. Until recently, LKMWT has been the sole provider of quality primary healthcare in Bachal Goth and its surrounding areas, serving up to 50,000 patients annually.
